She was fine with it because I told her at the beginning of the year that I stutter and that I might not do as much talking overall, so it didn't come as a surprise. So if you didn't tell your teacher at the beginning of the year (which I am kind of getting that feeling from the original post) my options may or might not work depending on your teacher's attitude, just if you think (s)he will be a bit sussed out or surprised just grit your teeth and do it normally.
