Yeah, you're definitely right, and I have thought that before, but the problem for me is breaking the wall and actually saying to people that I have a stutter. The whole acceptance thing to me is new, and I only recently told my family and started getting help. Also, here in the UK us young men tend to hide and bottle up our emotions for some reason instead of talking about it seriously, it's just something about our culture that is hard to shake. But the right move is definitely to speak out, I just find it hard and uncomfortable to speak to people people my age age about it, but I'm getting used to talking to my Mum and Dad about as well as my speech therapist. Thanks for taking the time to respond and giving some encouraging words it's definitely appreciated.
