A short story of mine So this summer, i was playing Pubg with random duos like i do everyday. I live in Turkey so i get matched up with europeans and i can talk english. I can talk in English much more fluently than Turkish (turkish is a pain) and stuttering isnt a big problem since in europe, nobody has english as their mother tongue so i can just make it sound like i forgot the word. That way, my blocks dont affect me all that much. But one evening, i got matched with a chill dude. At his first sentence, i nearly got teared up: He was one of us! After that, he asked me where i was from. It turns out we were both Turkish! That evening, we ended up playing for 2 hours. He carried me the entire match (fella was a beast at the game) and it was really nice to play with someone with the same problem. I tried so hard to not stutter since it could sound like i was mocking him and i think i only stuttered like once or twice. I already have a mature voice for my age (i am 15 and people say i sound and look like im 20) but a microphone makes me sound even older. That was the most fun i had from a game. Ended up winning a match. Made me nearly tear up. I felt like we had a connection from the start. Ended up playing with him a few more times and once played with his friends too. Nowadays, since i dont play pubg anymore (started building scale models to calm my mind down) i dont get the chance to play with him. This was just a quick little story i wanted to share. This was a block type of stutterer, tuning off.
