First, no one is "normal" and please do not compare yourself to others. Also, every day do one little thing that you would normally not do and see if you can do it. Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone will allow you to face those fears head on. If you fail, learn from it and apply it to the next time. I practice mindful meditation every morning, read out loud and practice my diaphragmatic breathing. Plus, I reached out where I no longer care what people think of my stutter. Pedro is AWESOME. Pedro has a stutter. My stutter does not define who I am, I just have a stutter. If I have a block/repetition, I stop, breathe and carry on. Every coach will tell you that if you want to get good at something, you practice. So that's what I did... I practice, practice, practice. What I believe is that practice DOESN'T make perfect (I don't believe in perfection), practice Makes PERMANENT. When you have a bad day, and believe me you will, just know that I am in your proverbial corner cheering you on. This is hard work but I believe that you can do it. I speak in front of 200 to 600 people and every time I look forward to it because Pedro is AWESOME and he is going to ROCK IT OUT.
