Pain and suffering is not God’s will; outlined in the book of Genesis, in the scenario of Adam and Eve consuming the tree of knowledge of good and evil, God warned them of what would follow if they consumed the fruit from the forbidden tree. God’s will is for us, in simple terms imo, is to do good and have a relationship with the only good (him) in spite of the pain and suffering (emanated from evil) which is against his will. You’re right that saying “it’s God’s will” is a shitty way of responding to discomfort, a state of suffering. God’s will, in a context similar to stuttering, is to not let the mind be deceived to resort to hopelessness - but to act accordingly in a positive manner. This doesn’t mean you have “to make to make the best of it” but most stutterers would agree that there are things within our control that we can do to limit the control it has on our lives. God’s will is not your stutter (directed to op), rather is is who you are and what you do even though you stutter (which can also have impacts of its own that are God’s will). Hope this helps op.
