I am not fully fluent. Maybe 65 percent. What I did though was during my interview for this job. I laid it all out there, respectfully. Basically saying hey I know I stutter this is who I am, but that doesn't effect my work, and I have years of knowledge doing what I do. So if you want somebody with the knowledge, here I am. Turning wrenches does not involve using your mouth...... Luckily this job they accepted me with open arms. I still stay to myself, less people know the better. Don't let the jobs discourage you, and you can tell when their tone changes while talking to you. Honestly if they act that way about a stutter. That's not the company I would want to work for anyways. No matter how good it is.
