Is this the primary problem of speech breakdowns: "*For individuals who stutter, deficit in excutive shifting manifest as difficulties disengaging attention from threatening stimuli"*? Or are there other primary problems that underly the breakdown of the forward flow of speech? Each researcher has their own viewpoint, what is your viewpoint on the matter?
