I do the same thing. It’s part of my introduction. Kids are infinitely kinder than adults in my experience. They also appreciate seeing adults claim their flaws. It has its challenges but teaching as a stutterer has been really rewarding. Especially when it comes from the love of your subject or the craft itself. I also teach a reading program. And the kids have to bear with me sometimes when it comes to pronunciation. Honestly I think it makes them feel better that they’re also struggling. They know you don’t expect perfection.
