I can empathize with you. I was born a social, extroverted person and my stutter used to be a big reason to why I had a lot of introverted and mute moments. The muteness was definitely debilitating, but I had to work around it to grow as a person. It took getting out of my comfort zone and, ironically, working as a server which pushed me further out of my comfort zone. Now as a person, who’s turning 25, with a better job and dramatically less mute moments. I’ve made it pretty far. As a fellow person like you, I wish you the best. Get out there and be uncomfortable for a bit.
