the course teaches self acceptance. know that you always will be a stutterer but now have the tools to help be eloquent with it. the first thing I did was while waiting at the train station after the course. I called maybe 4 or 5 friends telling them I had been on the course. after that practice speaking in situations where you think you will stutter. hate speaking on the phone? make 20 phone calls this morning. get anxious talking to attractive people? talk to 15 of them (go to a mall and ask them directions) also speaking with your assigned coach daily, and making phone calls to other coaches on the phone list. cancel negative situations. I used to cycle 30 minutes to make my haircut appointment in person because I hated the phone. when I finished the course I called them to make an appointment!
