Unfortunately, I think tips from others don't always work for every person that stutters. But I tend to slip up more with my family as well as my wife because I feel comfortable knowing that they know, so I don't feel as pressured to be perfect when I talk. But I would maybe think about whether or not you're just in a comfort zone with them. For me, it's almost like I've been working very hard ALL day to work around it at work in order to NOT stutter or show it. Then, when I get home, I get to kind of finally breathe and relax and be able to slip up and it not be judged.
