I think most of my stuttering problems mainly happen when I don't breathe correctly. I noticed that when I have trouble I take very shallow, quick breaths to the back of my throat which creates tension there. I've begun making an effort to concentrate on slowing down my breathing and taking in more air where I can feel it at my lips, which allows the back of my throat to relax. That really seems to help considerably.
