No Stutter When Passionate Hey guys! I'm new to this community, but I just wanted to share something interesting about my stutter. I'm a high school student, and I've done public speaking for a while now to alleviate my condition. It's hard to describe what exactly happens, but whenever I add "passion" to a speech (e.g. hand motions, changes in tone, etc.), I find that I rarely stutter. I know that singing also helps with stuttering because it is processed differently by the brain, but what's the scientific evidence to back up this particular phenomenon? Also, does anyone else experience this? Cheers. :)
