It’s not easy. What worked for me was working on myself psychologically rather than just my stutter. With the help of a few therapists throughout my life I’ve worked on my attitudes, emotions and thought processes around stuttering which has really helped. If you can’t change your stutter, try focus on what you can change. You can change your mindset and you can improve your psychological well-being separate to your stutter. You might just find your stutter improves as a by product of this.
