I’m your age and I have a family and a great kid. I’m a lawyer and having to talk for a living can be terrifying. Sometimes I still get down about it but most days I just power through. I’ve noticed my stutter waxes and wanes depending on stress, sleep, etc. I don’t stutter if I don’t think about it. I’ve done speech therapy and the works, but I find that just not worrying about it is the best thing I can do for my mental health. (Easier said than done lol). Most days I have meetings for a better part of the day and every now and then I’ll have a block, but they are getting less frequent the more comfortable I get in my career and life.
