Not directly of lying but "hiding something" multiple times. As a kid my bag was searched regularly by the supermarket's security guard, I guess because I looked nervous (looking nervous = nervous because of hiding something = must be trying to steal). Lost my wallet one time, after some weeks the police came to my house to return it, I was stuttering because people of authority make me generally stutter more (again stuttering = nervous because hiding something), so I was more or less questioned on the spot about how I lost my wallet, hoping to find something on me. Once on my way home I made a stop to buy some food, after I came back with my food my bicycle was stolen, went to the police station to make a report, I was stuttering like hell because I was tired, exhausted and angry cause my bike was stolen (again stuttering = nervous because hiding something), so I was first asked if I'm drunk or under the influence of drugs, had an alcohol test made on me, before they made the report on my stolen bike. The list goes on, extremely degrading situations. Now that I'm more conscious about myself and about my stuttering, I don't let them handle me like that anymore, and I can really recommend everyone to stand up for themselves, however stressful the situation is!
