I also stutter. I've felt how you felt and I still feel that way today and struggle with it everyday. I have good days and bad days, but it's a pretty noticable issue. Like yesterday, I had my first orientation for a new job I started. We had to go around the room and introduce ourselves and I stuttered on my own name. But, no one cared. No one gave me a funny look, no one laughed at me and no one pointed it out. In fact, everyone still talked to me like a normal person and included me in social interactions instead of excluding me from them like I expected them to. Yes, you can get a job with a stutter. I'm proof of that. It took many years for me to come this far with being confident enough to push myself. I've had to come up with my own ways of controlling the stutter as much as I could with breathing techniques and getting out of my head about it, but it will happen if you want it to happen and when you're ready for it to happen. There is hope for you. Don't give up
