"so many stutterers been able to give speeches " So we would have to first believe this declaration. And I have never seen a stutterer do a completely stutter free speech. They all have tricks that another stutterer would notice. I recall a time when a supervisor used hmmm before she talk. For months I did not know for sure if she stuttered. But I noticed the hmmm trick and relaxed pauses she did. It's fun to see how good she was at it.. But if the person was completely fluent, then why do they still stutter... They are not completely fluent. It's a pattern with stuttering to be erractic. Tourette is erractic also. Even migraines are erratic but real. Psychology issues are not so erractic, I believe. Psychologist/psychiatrist are never asked to prove anything. Let them show their evidence (without drugging or institutionalizing people), then they can challenge others. They don't even have surveys. Instead, they have, declarations/guesses/ indirect assumptions to prove direct assumptions. And their wild treatment wishes do not work either: Many have already experimented too much, in many countries. The profession is very known for bias/prejudices that goes back 150+ years when all were put in crazy institutions for reasons that do not require institutions (I'm sure they got kickback money even back then). And psychiatrist even lie in their notes: I found that out decades ago. Neurologist can do tests and they have shown already that the brain of a stutterers do different things than non-stutters during speech. It's consistent enough, and it contrast with non stutterers. And they admit there is no treatment. But other neurology science says that the brain can create new pathways, And different parts of the brain do different types of speech, and do components of speech. They all or some work together, I guess. There are habits that develop. NIH call the avoidance "adaptations." The avoidance happens after stress and past experiences. Psychology is intertwined with many things. NIH talks about chronic pain patients having a cycle that they go through: Pain, stress, depression, etc. So it's not a new thing that stress has an affect on a person with a physical/neurological issue. Let the psychologist show their direct -scientific- data.. although they have none.
