It may be effective for people who stutter (PWS) doing any strategy from any of the 50+ [modalities](https://www.psychology.org.au/getmedia/23c6a11b-2600-4e19-9a1d-6ff9c2f26fae/Evidence-based-psych-interventions.pdf) during a speech block. I likely observe different beliefs/attitudes during a block than you (it's very individual for each person I think).
