This is an excellent post. Props to you sir. If I may, I will add to it. My story is fairly similar. I'm 27, work two jobs (full time retail, part time photographer - both talk heavy) and I am liiiiight years ahead of where I was with my stutter when it first started (around 15-16). OP is right in that those little inches, the little speech 'wins' will start to add up and eventually, you'll be glad you kept pushing yourself out there into those uncomfortable situations. Cos really, that's all you can do, keep pushing. You're the one that has to deal with your speech, no one else.
