Dr Gerald have probably plenty of inquiries regarding stuttering meds, from PWS worldwide. On the other side none of numerous research he did in past 15 years succedeed, none was approved by FDA. I don't have a chance to test pagoclone or any other of researched drugs, but most effective seems to be Buspirone, Clomipramine, escitalopram,lurasidone, based on ppl reports. Its really hard to find a drug that will help my depression, anhedonia and motivation, and help my fluency at the same time. There are some drugs ive tested, that worsened my speech: atomoxetine, medikinet(mph), pregabaline. Some helped to some extent: xanax, propanolol, but I still have some blocking on words starting with wovels. Most useful dopaminergic drug that helped my motivation was Parnate, and it did not worsened my speech , but had some major side effects, shortening sleep on the night, sleepness attacks in the afternoon , some high BP, and so on.
