That's the thing about stutter. There aren't any defined laws protecting people with a stutter. At least, not in my country, idk for the others, but then you have to judge the motives of the person, which is very difficult because the laugh response is, a lot of times, involuntary because of socialization as we have been fed a kind of education and media that ridicules something which isn't normative. I am really sorry you had to go through that. I know it's troublesome to talk and sort it out with a judge on duty, but I just want to tell you that you are valid no matter what. You are strong and brave and could voice out your side in a court full of people. That's a huge thing for a person with a stutter I believe. It is at least for me. You did great!
