Since you don't have access to good speech therapy, be your own therapist. Do research, practice speaking, record it and play it back to yourself, take notes on the stutter and ways to improve it, etc. Yes it's a lot of work but it's definitely worth it. I am so scared of talking, I can't think about anything but my stutter, yet I know I can't go mute because the world isn't going to hold my hand. I do every presentation, every phone call, every conversation I have to in order to fit in and yes, I do get looks sometimes and people assume my words but none of that matters, what matters is my success. If you let your stutter control you, you will not have anything at all and that isn't a good life at all. It is hard and it is painful but you have to tell yourself you're greater than your stutter each and everyday and do everything you have to to make that true.
