wholesome and funny story about my stutter :) figured i’d share! :) i work as a day camp counselor and have a pin on my lanyard that says “i stutter, please be patient”. my kids (around 8-12yrs) occasionally look at it and sometimes ask questions to which i explain. anyway one day, one of my younger kids walks up me and we proceed to have the following interaction: Kid: *reads my pin out loud, then looks up at me* “you stutter?” Me: “yeah :)” Kid: Kid: “stutter then” sweet summer child wanted me to stutter on command💀🤚 i thought it was so funny and tried explaining that stuttering doesn’t work like that, but of course he didn’t really get it which is understandable. ever since then some of my kids will occasionally tell me to stutter and all i can really do it laugh bc they’re so pure. anyway that was all, i just wanted to share a more funny stuttering story <3
