Back again 😂. For more advice this time. So I put a post up a few weeks ago in this subreddit about my unusual stutter. It was great and very helpful. But one question still remains. Why do I have such a stop start stutter? For context. I can speak completely fluently one minute and then stutter the next. This wouldn’t be so unusual but I can go for maybe a day without stuttering once. Then it can come back out of the blue. There are things that set me off (being angry, stressed, public speaking etc.) sometimes it can just start on its own with none of my “triggers” (don’t know if that’s the correct term). It never lasts for long either. It may only be a couple of sentences then I’m back to fluent talking. So yeah. If any one knows the cause of this or why this happens that would be greatly appreciated. Or if you can relate in some way it would be nice to hear from you as well. Thanks for reading.
