One of the first recommendations I got while job hunting was to tie a string to a doorknob and slam the door in my face. Repeat that over and over until I became desensitized to not take that constant rejection personally. Rejection sucks. What are you good at? What do you enjoy? Let that guide you toward what you CAN do. Don’t limit yourself. I met a PWS who did not go into teaching because of her stutter. She became a pharmacist instead. Most of her day is spent on the phone clarifying prescriptions. She was too far down that path when she realized she could have/ should have been a teacher. Life is short. Focus on what you love. It sounds like you came from a privileged background and you have a good education behind you. You got this. We’re here for you.
