> Why does that mindset improve your speech exactly? For me, my path of accepting stuttering has nothing to do with improving my speech. I think that kind of thinking just goes around in circles. There are many responses to this, but as a rhetorical question, "if you're looking to improve your speech, are you actually accepting of stuttering?" My definition (my take only) of acceptance is the choice to allow the existence of stuttering without interference. Acceptance has allowed me to live my life in a way I think it should be lived with out the burden of stuttering heavy on my shoulders.
