Stuttering is in my genes. My father, 2 uncles, and 2 brothers all stuttered. But all of them recovered around 16 17 age. My younger brother is turning 16 next month and he has almost completely overcame stutter. And here i am, 22, always locked in my room. Dont interact with anyone, have my younger brother order food or answer my calls. Afraid to go out even in friend gatherings. And my stutter is growing worse each year. I was maybe 6 7 on stutter scale last year but now im almost 10.. blocks on every word of a sentence, and if I'm lucky every 2nd word..the blocks range from 2 3 seconds to sometime 9 10 sec where i lose my breath, breathe in and start the struggle of uttering that word again. Life is horrible.
