Stuttering it fairly common in children and they often grow out of it. I would say definitely have a discussion with the parents, I doubt they would mind your concern, and they may already have plans and know what they would want you to do. It's also possible they haven't noticed it or are hoping they're imagining it. Bringing it up may be the trigger to get some support.
