Worked as a mechanic with another older gentleman that had a stutter about the same level as mine. We both had the same humor about the stutter, so would joke about it all the time. Occasionally, we would send each other troublesome customers, who thought we were playing jokes on them even after our management would tell them that we both in fact, did have a stutter. Had another buddy with a pretty severe stutter that joined the Army for a communications-based MOS, of all things. He was the one who convinced me I could do it, and I wouldn't change a thing. Pretty good times.
