This would be interesting to try. Thanks for the suggestion. Interestingly, I noticed that I don't breathe through my mouth at all when I speak, but practicing certain breathing techniques helped me to manage my stutter in the past. I have only a block stutter, i.e. when I am not able to start pronouncing certain words. Usually, I 'fix' it by saying something like 'em...' a couple of times but today it did not work at all. I was just about to search for some new coping techniques. EDIT: I tried that, didn't quite work, but it is difficult to implement in a stressful situation. I would say that slowing down a bit is also required.
