Stutterer trying to learn French Hi guys! I'm 35 yo, and I've been trying to learn French for the second time in my adult life. I tried in 2018, but I was doing not so well because I couldn't say the words properly at all (like très, première...) and I quit. And because of that, I lost an amazing job offer (for a region that requires French). Last year I started new classes, this time with a private teacher (he's so absurdly patient with me, with my stuttering) but I'm about to quit again. I don't know if it's just me but French is so challenging to a stutterer. (English it's not my maternal language either as you guys can notice from my poor grammar, but I do feel English is easier to speak than French, for me at least). I recently lost a second job offer (an amazing one) because I'm not a French speaker yet. :( I'm so done with it. I'm not intended to be whining here or anything like that. It's just something I needed to get off my chest today. Thank you, stutterers friends. Keep fighting.
