For me, I don't think 100% stuttering remission is possible, however you can get to a stage where from a psychological aspect it doesn't affect you. I think stuttering is quite a complex disorder, however i have had some success in improved fluency purely by some exposure therapy and uncomfortable challenges e.g. approaching strangers, joining toastmasters etc. I think overall, the best way to stay on top of your speech is too continue pushing out your comfort zone and making those uncomfortable situations comfortable. With a combination of this, and addressing the physical aspects via speech therapy, or alternative routes you can definitely get well on top of things.
