Please, I urge you to not give up. I know it can be discouraging but you owe it to yourself to push through. I’m 25 and have stuttered my entire life.. and I let my stutter dissuade me from pursuing many opportunities for a long time.. as I just convinced myself it was a life meant for someone else. I just got through joining the USMC with a stutter, I decided to jump head first into discomfort. I can honestly say I’m a stuttering marine.. my combat instructors ask “How the fuck did you even make it through boot camp?” to which I respond “Straight Perseverance Sergeant” which isn’t far from the truth. I said all that just to tell you not to give up and let it define who you are/where you go. I just learned to own it. When we do counts in formation, I remember I stuttered on 95 (they waited a good 30 seconds for me to stammer it out).. as all 170 people turned to look right at me.. when we first got to boot camp. I died on the inside.
