To tell you the truth, I didn't really talk much period (I'm a high-functioning autistic as well, so speaking is generally just NO) but I think the first one may be closer to the truth. I don't know if my stutter wasn't as bad back then or if I just genuinely lacked the self-awareness to realize I was doing it as a child, which frustrates me even more. >:(
