Thank you, nice to hear your opinion, and after reading your text I'm sure that you are doing great in your job! I'm really touched by what you are writing. And I couldn't agree more. It's sad that this MD you are talking about is feeling so insecure about his stutter that he shows this kind of overreaction. As a stutterer I understand that sometimes it's really hard not to get frustrated by this daily fight for words, especially when you are very ambitious and want to do things perfect at work. But I also chose the other way, I tend to smile a lot and be positive and friendly to my co-workers and patients.That way I get very very seldom offensive comments, most of the time people are understanding and supportive. I've often thought to myself that the stutter is much more a pain in the ass for me than for the people I talk to ;).
