I think mindfulness has helped me a ton. So much of what makes stuttering bad is the shit we do trying to get out of, prevent, or avoid it. Mindfulness tells you to learn to be ok in each moment. It’s taught me to just feel and acknowledge moments and all they entail. It sounds odd i know.. but it’s taken away all the extra crap and left me with “pure” stuttering. I honestly don’t even think about my speech that much anymore, i just talk.
