I'm a physician. The one thing I swore I would never do when I was 10 years old once I heard you have to interview to get into medical school - and then interview to get into residency! And at 10 years old I wasn't even able to talk on the phone. But it all works out. Now I spend most of my day talking to patients and colleagues and sometimes stuttering. The more I've accepted it the less of a thing it becomes. But I still have bad days where I have to choose a different name for medication (so grateful they have the brand name and the generic names) or act like I am unsure of what I'm about to say next or explain a word in detail even though I know the exact medical term I want to use. Lol and sometimes I'm in an emergency situation and just have to stutter it out! Edit: just wanna say, I'm so proud of ya'll :')
