I was going to say something similar. I have a moderate to severe stutter, and at work, I was the only one that would talk in group meetings. Many promotions later, I still stutter, but I now manage 40 engineers and am constantly called out as a high performer and key employee. A lack of a stutter doesn't make people invincible. Most people articulate themselves poorly regardless. Many suffer from anxiety and rarely say anything in groups. A stutter is a hindrance and a daily struggle for me. However, every day, I feel it is my job to overcome it. In my experience, if I keep putting myself forward, it does get better.
