True. But that's up to the person and their preferences. Since this person is interested in becoming a doctor, I assumed that they could see themselves working as a physician in some capacity, at their level of impairment. Some MDs don't communicate with speech for 90% of their work, so it's still doable. Think pathologists, radiologists. Some of these dictate their notes, but could also type and use dot phrases.
