I’m the exact same way. People have no idea I have a stutter until I’m ordering something at a store or using my name for another reason. Honestly, good on you for having strategies to get around it. It sucks to not always get exactly what we want, and we don’t always feel comfortable around other people at every given moment, but just know that those moments will come and there will be times that your friends are more in the know about it and understanding of your situation.
