One more thing, never say his stuttering is from anxiety. We didn’t have anxiety when we were stuttering as young children, the anxiety comes from how people have always reacted to our stuttering. No one stutters because they are anxious, but anxiety sure doesn’t help. You can’t cure one’s anxiety without getting to the root of the problem. There’s no lack of confidence either, every single ONE of our interactions with people always came with the barrier of having a stutter. You do get discriminated on it big time, my life unfortunately at this point is a great case study of that. I’ve been mocked my entire life and it feels like no one ever really cared. In other words it’s the chicken or the egg scenario. The stuttering existed first and the anxiety came later based on peoples reactions to it.
