That's a beautiful thought.. I hope readers can find my answers easily though my wording below. Started stuttering when I was seven yo (I'll share the story in another post later). But yes, stuttering is truly mind blowing. I stutter the most and hardest when talking to the closest ppl around (close family, best friends, etc..), but I bearly show any signs of stutter when presenting to our vice president on a business review (call me a liar, but I sell business solutions for a living). I think the reason is that I found I can lose stuttering when talking in a theatrical or acting kind of way. Working in Sales, I needed to assert presence and extreme self confidence to my audience, and that justifies the theatrical act (in a way or the other). But there are some words I can never win against of course like all of us stutterers here. Another astonishing fact, is that the more emotional I am, the less I stutter (mad, sad,..), and the cooler I am, the worse I get. Which makes a lot of ppl in mere surprise a month(s) after I get to know them (Including my wife back when we started dating).
