some children have some kind of stutter when they learn to speak. this is called primary stuttering and often isn't a problem. the issue comes when people try to correct it and the kid becomes emotional about it. I guess as a ten year old it's not really learning to speak, but if he isn't bothered I think it's fine to let it be.
