My dad served in the Navy w/ a stutter. The only issue he ever told me about was when he used the radio. Regs said to say “Main Control” when opening the channel but he blocked on M words. He could say “the Main Control” with no problems. Once the bridge officers knew of the issue, they overlooked it.
