While I don't agree with his response, I think you're minimizing his feelings. It's hard to grow up being the one who is always on the outside looking in and then just being told to not be negative about it. We don't know what he's been through, or the severity of his experiences. I don't know how old Terry is but maybe he has to gain more life experience to NGAF more. Or evolve in his own way, like we all do.
