A waitress complimented my boots and asked me where I got them. But both "amazon" and "online" were way too difficult for me to say, so I instead lied and said I didn't remember. It was a big failure. :( However! The day before last I made the first phone call to someone other than family in the last 2 years. It was for my insurance company and I had to rattle off a LOT of numbers. I stuttered terribly, but the guy was really patient and kind, and I eventually got my cancellation reversed. Me! Productive oral telecommunication! I came out of the whole thing feeling like Wonder Woman. Probably won't be able to work up the courage to try it again for a while, but it was pretty awesome.
