I am 35 years old and after a few good years in my late 20’s when my stutter became quite minimal it reared its head again after a very stressful period in my life around 32 years old. My job is very communication oriented and demanding, especially being able to train others and give clear instructions, I find it hard almost every day and it’s very much a personal secret battle I have with myself. I do struggle sometimes to be honest as it can feel very lonely when other people don’t understand how hard it can be just to be able to speak. However I’ve never let it hinder me and I take every little victory I can find throughout the day. You’re doing great, keep pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and know that there are many people like you! Well done!
