And what's even worse... these voice assistants have accessibility options... for everything BUT speech (vision, hearing, a couple others, etc). So you have an assistant explicitly for speech... make accessibility options... yet none for speech disabiliies. At least have a response time settings.. I have written to my congressman and senators. No response. Any activists in here? Maybe we can do something.
