Let me tell you from experience, it's is not a quick journey. And it is definitely not easy. There will be times where you just feel hopeless and nothing is working. That is when I hope you have a circle of support you can turn too. You need to keep your eye on the big picture and not the moment to moment instances that might be painful or feel like failure. This is very difficult and I struggle with it myself, but having support around you and people/places you can go to talk about it is not just helpful, I think it is essential.
